The Mission Access 280 is easy for the kids to paddle, and is ideal for paddling in sheltered lakes, gentle rivers, and calm open water. This kayak is short and stable, yet lightweight. A nimble performer that turns easily and has lots of features and comfort for a day out paddling. Great for exploring around those lake edges.
The open cockpit houses a large, comfortable padded seat, adjustable backrest and an easy-to-reach, underdeck tray for storing your phone or camera (in a waterproof case) as well as sunscreen or snacks. The large 250mm hatch and rear foam bulkhead means you have plenty of gear storage space for a fun day out.
This sit-in kayak is compact and lightweight, making it effortless to transport and handle out of the water no matter the size of the paddler.

Ideal for family activities at the beach, for recreational paddling along easy shorelines and for short trips on very sheltered waters, such as Bay of Islands, Auckland Harbour, Pauatahanui Inlet, Christchurch estuary, Queenstown waterfront, Lake Mavora, Catlins estuaries, etc.
The Splash, Mokau and Waikato are good paddles for the Access 280 mini-kayak.
The Freetime or Universal are suitable PFDs.
Optional extras include a rod holder.
