The great advantage of this kayak is that you can paddle it with a friend, or you can paddle it yourself. The centre seat pad makes it easy for a kid to come along for the ride.
The surf-ski style nature of the hull design makes it easier to get in and out through the waves and it paddles easily, so you don’t tire as quickly. A ‘must-have’ for families – it will soon become the favourite summer toy for the entire family.
A 125mm inspection port, with mesh bag, is also fitted to give you a safe storage space for your snacks, sunscreen, car keys (in waterproof bag), etc.

Ideal for family activities at the beach, for recreational paddling along easy shorelines and for short trips on very sheltered waters, such as Bay of Islands, Auckland Harbour, Pauatahanui Inlet, Christchurch estuary, Queenstown waterfront, Lake Mavora, Catlins estuaries, etc.
The Splash, Mokau and Waikato are good paddles for the Surge double sit-on-top.
The Freetime or Universal are suitable PFDs.
Optional extras include backrest, thigh straps, rod holder.
